VERDI MARATHON

Regium Lepidi Opera is pleased to announce the opening of applications for an extraordinary event for opera singers: the Verdi Marathon. This six-day intensive Masterclass and Opera Gala will take place in Teatro G. Verdi in Busseto, the birthplace of the legendary composer Giuseppe Verdi.

TUITION:

• €350 for participation in the Masterclass.

ABOUT THE MASTERCLASS:

Over the course of SIX immersive days, participants will receive expert instruction, focusing on the their vocal technique, Italian repertoire and stage presence:

• Voice Technique & Italian Repertoire: Focused and intensive sessions with Maestro Mirko Matarazzo, esteemed tenor and Artistic Director of Regium Lepidi, dedicated to refining vocal technique, overcoming challenges, and elevating your performance of the Italian repertoire.  

• Diction, Style & Interpretation: Expert coachings with the distinguished Maestro Milo Martani, aimed at perfecting Italian diction, music style and composer’s intention, and deepening interpretative skills.  

• Opera Gala Performance: Participants will have the incredible opportunity to perform in the Opera Gala at the legendary Teatro G. Verdi in Busseto, concluding the Masterclass.

• HD Video Recording of Performance: A professional HD video of the final performance (filmed with 8 microphones and 8 cameras) will be available for all participants at an additional cost of €200.

Travel and Accommodation 

•   Accommodation and travel expenses are not included in the tuition fee. However, we are happy to assist all participants in finding affordable lodging options in the area.

• Please note that participation in the Verdi Marathon is limited, with a maximum of 8 singers to be selected. In order to be considered and to secure their place, we kindly encourage artists to submit their applications as early as possible

4. A list of the repertoire you wish to work on during the Masterclass and possible selections for consideration for the Opera Gala program.
